Technology tools and solutions are changing the way we work, live and play. The implications of these change that are actually occurring are hitting our societies in a big way. A hit, experts not sure we are quite ready for. In the US, the baby boomer population (76 million people born between 1946 and 1964) is on its way to turning our nation gray. It is said that by 2050, 20% of the nation’s population will be 65 and older. This massive change will not only have an impact on our workforce, but the types of jobs offered and the economy will be hit as well. We need to be ready to provide effective and person-centered care for this population that will have a define idea of how they choice to live. In order to provide the best care possible with limited resources of people and money, we need to rely on technology to help.
