Francis J. DiMario Jr, M.D., M.A., C.I.P. , Professor Pediatrics and Neurology at The University of Connecticut and Associate Chair of Academic Affairs for the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Director Human Subjects Protection Program at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford CT.
He was an undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston MA and his Masters in adult learning at the University of Connecticut. He trained in Pediatrics and became a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont before entering neurology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and child neurology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Thereafter he joined the faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where he teaches at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford CT. He is a certified IRB professional and serves as the Medical Director of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center HRPP and IRB Chair.
He is a member of the Child Neurology Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Neurological Association, the Society for Pediatric Research, and the American Academy of Pediatrics and PRIM&R.
