Assistant Director Regulatory, Compliance and Quality
Jessica Huening is the Assistant Director of Regulatory, Compliance and Quality at Yale University's Program for the Protection of Human Subjects. Prior to joining Yale University she was a Senior Consultant and Regulatory Analyst for Kinetiq, the consulting and technology division of Quorum Review. At Kinetiq she leveraged her background in law and research to provide regulatory analysis on key issues in clinical research, and help revitalize HRPP programs. She has held multiple research positions in academic and non-profit settings, and has an extensive background in human subjects protection. This includes roles at Seattle Children's Research Institute where she served as an IRB member, Rutgers University where she was a Field Researcher involved with justice-involved populations, and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was an IRB Analyst. Her research interests include vulnerable populations in research, including prisoners and individuals with severe mental illness. Jessica received her Juris Doctorate at Seton Hall Law with a concentration in health law where she was the recipient of the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Health Law.
