Leptospirosis cases are increasing in veterinary hospital across the country. Not only do veterinary team members need to be aware of this disease to protect themselves, but they also need a good understanding of it in order to educate clients who may have been exposed. This lecture will cover how the disease is contracted, clinical signs, diagnostics, treatment and client education of Leptospirosis in dogs.
