A review of several diseases of the spine that might be caused/exacerbated by excessive joint motion including: Atlanto-occipital instability, Atlantoaxial instability, Wobblers Vertebral articular dysplasias, Lumbosacral stenosis and instability, Signalment, history, diagnostic findings, prognosis, and treatment considerations for these problems will be discussed. Supplemental materials include a handout of the slides for taking notes.
