Getting the Vapors - How to Keep Humidity in the Right Range

Wednesday, April 25
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Salon A (5th Floor)
CEUs: BPI, InterNachi, NATE, NARI, ASHI

In winter, the air in many homes is too dry. In summer, it can be too humid. What are the causes of these conditions? What are the solutions? If you have questions about humidity in homes, this is the session for you.

In this session, we'll go over the basic physics of water vapor and psychrometrics, discuss why homes get too dry or too humid, and give a range of solutions to keep humidity in the right range. You'll learn about humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and air conditioners.

Some of what we say will surprise you. Some of it will shock you. Some of it may even anger you.
