The Smart Home

2018 HPC National Conference Session

The Future of Home Energy Management Systems, Part II: Industry Perspectives

Wednesday, April 25
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Location: Franklin 3 (4th Floor)
CEUs: BPI, InterNachi, NARI, ASHI

This is the second part of the two-part series on the Future of HEMS. In the first session, experts weighed in on developments in the smart home space in the past year and opportunities for the future. What value does smart, connected products provide to the energy industry, and how can consumer adoption - or lack thereof - help or hinder the quest for energy savings? In this panel private industry representatives in the HEMS space (product manufacturers and analytics providers) will weigh in with their perspectives on the topics explored in Part I.
