Creative Comfort: Going Beyond the Thermostat Set Point

Wednesday, April 25
10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Salon C (5th Floor)
CEUs: BPI, InterNachi, NARI

Many people assume that their comfort at home is determined by the thermostat set-point(s). Not true! We have the potential to be far more comfortable with less energy if we understand the variety of environmental, physiological, and psychological factors that influence human thermal comfort. Learn how to apply comfort concepts to your occupant education efforts and/or as part of an energy upgrade or home remodeling project. Note: This session is not as much about space conditioning comfort strategies as the interactions and satisfaction between occupants and their surroundings.
