Based on current evidence, the outcomes of root canal therapy are as much influenced by the work of the endodontist as it is by the ensuing restoration process. In order to preserve the effort of the endodontist, it is highly advisable to achieve permanent hermetic closure of the root canal space before the patient leaves the endodontist’s surgery. While there exist both endodontic and restoration protocols, the importance of flawless post-endodontic build-up remains undervalued. The author presents an advanced clinical protocol of immediate adhesive post-endodontic treatment based on 12 years of clinical cooperation between endodontist and prosthodontist completing together over 6,000 cases. The rationale of the procedure based on personal research, all clinical phases from the treatment planning to final restoration and treatment outcomes are presented.
