This half-day course is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about contemporary microsurgical armamentaria, techniques and materials while using a surgical operating microscope. After viewing a clinical demonstration using state-of-the-art mandibular molar typodont models, participants will have the opportunity to assist each other using the same models. They will incise and reflect simulated gingiva, make an osteotomy, remove simulated granulomatous tissue, perform an apicoectomy, create an apical preparation, retrofill the apical preparation with state-of-the-art materials, place a bone graft and membrane, and finally, suture and place a surgical wound dressing.
AAE Workshop No Show Policy:
A no show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for their scheduled workshop within 30 minutes of the published start time. If a registrant no shows, they will forfeit their spot at the workshop and an individual from the wait-list will be given their place. Per registration cancellation policy, refunds for AAE workshops will not be granted, regardless of circumstance (including no show’s), after March 22, 2019.
