Charles L. Katzenmeyer is Vice President, Institutional Advancement at the Field Museum of Natural History, where he oversees teams working in development, government relations and a membership community of 40,000 households. The Field Museum has recently entered the public phase of a 5-year, $250 million campaign in celebration of the institution's 125th Anniversary. Previously, he was the Sr. Vice President at the Adler Planetarium and before that chief development officer at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. He is a past chair of the AAM Development and Membership Professional Network (2013-2016) and past president of the Northwestern Alumni Association. He is presently on the board of the Association of Midwest Museums and Gerber/Hart Library and Archives.
