Sonja Potter is an Exhibition Coordinator responsible for coordinating permanent collection installations in the Freer Gallery of Art and temporary exhibitions in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. Sonja is a member of the Freer|Sackler’s accessibility taskforce, which develops museum-wide initiatives including an interactive interpretive exhibit for visitors with low vision. Prior to joining the exhibitions department, Sonja was the Executive Assistant to the Director where she worked on special projects including strategic plan assessment and led an interdepartmental team to champion the museum’s brand and values. Her previous experience includes working as an educator at Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region and as a program assistant at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Sonja has an M.A. in education from George Washington University.
