Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago
Lisa M. Key is the Deputy Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA). In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the museum’s external communications, strategy and planning. She is responsible for managing the relationship of the museum’s Board of Trustees and standing committees to ensure engagement and alignment. Prior to this role, Lisa was the Chief Development Officer of the MCA since 2007. Before joining the MCA, Lisa worked at the Field Museum Chicago, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Lisa is committed to engaging the next generation of arts administrators through her work at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Valparaiso University. She is a Past President of the Art Museum Development Association and is member of the Board of Threewalls, a Chicago-based non-profit dedicated to contemporary discourse about the intersections of art, social justice and community. Lisa graduated with a BA in Art History and Communications from Valparaiso University and received an MBA in Arts Administration from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
