Tamara Schwarz has two decades of experience developing award-winning museum exhibitions and multimedia projects. She directs exhibit planning and development for the California Academy of Sciences’ 100,000 square feet of exhibit space serving 1.4 million annual visitors. She is leading development of strategy and standards for multilingual exhibits at the Academy, starting with a major new exhibit that opened in 2018 with interpretation in four languages. Before joining the Academy in 2013, she was Senior Manager of Experience Design at Chabot Space & Science Center. She has served on the board of Cultural Connections and the steering committee for CAM’s California Networks for Collaborative Learning.
