Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center
Christine Bacon is the Interim Director of Education for the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center and holds a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law as well as a master of arts degree with a public history focus from Niagara University. She was an integral member of the Heritage Center’s small design team from exhibition concept to grand opening. She works to ensure the Heritage Center's themes of freedom, resistance, and social justice resonate with visitors. In 2016, AAM's Center for the Future of Museums awarded her short story, “A Thousand Invisible Cords,” an honorable mention designation in the Future Fiction Challenge.
