What drives the exhibition process? Putting together the right exhibition team, development process, and budget—and maintaining creative, positive relationships along the way—is no easy task. In this session, design and fabrication professionals will discuss concrete strategies for creating a project that hums and a successful, visitor-centered exhibition. Learn about everything from Request For Proposals to workflow to development and fabrication.

…assess when an RFP is needed for an exhibition project, and how to best draft one using unorthodox but proven methods that, by being fairer to both parties, enhance an institution’s ability to find the help it needs—before a firm is selected.
Decide when an exhibition development process would benefit from an Agile Rapid approach.
…describe best practices for forging collaborative relationship between their museums and exhibition fabricators to plan, design, and fabricate exhibitions that are content rich, appropriate for audiences, and sustainable to produce.
