Learn how local museums responded, and consider their role in addressing community crisis—providing refuge, documenting the events, and leading the recovery process. The presenters, who collectively have experienced fire, hurricanes, and earthquakes, will outline steps taken to serve the community through collaborative art-making, outreach, exhibitions, educational programs, and archival documentation.
