This book discussion, organized by Antenna, publisher of How to Rebuild a City: Field Guide from a Work in Progress, offers a deeper understanding of the arts and civic organizations that were crucial to the grass-roots post-disaster recovery of New Orleans from 2005-2010. Discussants explore the economic and environmental realities many local public service organizations have tackled over the past 14 years and how their work had shifted to meet the needs of a rapidly changing region and its implications for community sustainability.
