"An Endoscopist’s GPS: Navigating Innovations and Evolving Guidelines"

ASGE’s faculty will review and highlight a number of emerging diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic techniques outlined in the literature and their implication in clinical practice. Upon completion of this educational activity, physicians will be able to:
• Recognize current standards for diagnosing and reporting Barrett’s esophagus
• Identify current and new techniques for detecting upper and lower GI neoplasia
• Describe techniques for management of pancreatic fluid collections arising in acute pancreatitis
• Recognize new approaches for treating biliary neoplasia
• Identify new endoscopic therapies for GI bleeding
The program is designed to engage the audience with faculty through audience response along with question, answer and discussion. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy lunch with the speakers and discuss challenging cases and techniques. This course has been specifically designed for practitioners of gastrointestinal endoscopy, especially gastroenterologists, gastrointestinal surgeons, gastrointestinal nurses, and fellows in training. This course is equally relevant to those in private practice and academic practice.

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) is accredited by the Accredited Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
ASGE designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) MOC program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
