Accreditation/CME/MOC:
The American College of Gastroenterology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Gastroenterology designates this live activity for a maximum of 20.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are awarded as follows: 16.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for the Scientific Meeting, 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each Monday Breakfast Session, and 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each Tuesday and Wednesday Breakfast Session (breakfasts must be purchased separately).
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16.5 MOC points in the ABIM's MOC program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
How to Claim CME and MOC:
Complete the online evaluation at the ACG website, www.evals.gi.org/am/2019, to claim CME credit commensurate with your participation in the course. Please complete your CME evaluation and MOC assessment soon after the course. ABIM Board Certified physicians need to complete the MOC assessment by December 31, 2019 in order for the MOC points to count toward any MOC requirements that are due by the end of the year. No MOC credit may be awarded for this activity after March 1, 2020.
