Susan Fasoli, ScD, OTR/L is Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Her clinical and research expertise is in upper extremity neurorehabilitation, with an emphasis on the effects of robot-assisted therapy for individuals after stroke, factors that contribute to motor recovery and learning, and outcome assessment. She has been involved with efforts to develop the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System since 2002, having served as a member and co-chair of the ACRM Taxonomy Task Force, the NIDRR Steering Committee, and PCORI Advisory Board supporting this work. Dr. Fasoli has utilized the RTSS framework when educating occupational therapy students and planning and implementing robot-assisted therapy research. She has served on a number of committees for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) and is a section editor for the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
