The Complementary and Integrative Rehabilitation Medicine (CIRM) Networking Group (NG) from the American Congress of Rehabilittaion Medicine (ACRM) conducted a survey to learn how rehabilitation professionals perceive, use, and practice complementary approaches to rehabilitation medicine. The objective of the survey was to gather preliminary data to inform future research on how to better develop evidence-based protocols and guidelines. The survey was distributed online.
Survey respondents (N = 127) frequently recommended or utilized complementary approaches for both patients and themselves. This symposium will present these results and others.
