Results from a large evidence-based review (EBR) will be presented. The objective of this EBR was to extend prior research (Laatsch, et al., 2007) to provide current treatment guidelines for children with acquired brain injury (ABI) using studies published from 2006-2017. An interdisciplinary team of pediatric treatment providers reviewed studies for strength of evidence, using the Individual Study Review Form (Cicerone, et al., 2011) and Joana Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal Checklist (Institute, J.B., 2018). Results yielded 8 practice standards, 11 practice guidelines, and 3 practice options for evidence-based interventions. Presenters will discuss methodology, key findings and clinical applications.
