Members of the Rasch Emerging Good Practices Task Force will report on their efforts in developing best practices for reporting scale development or expand validation of existing scales that include Rasch Measurement Theory. These recommendations will be included in a peer-review manuscript for the journal Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The symposium will start with a comprehensive review of the literature. Further, guidelines for best reporting statistical analyses related to scale development or expanding validation of existing scales will be presented.
