This symposium presents new findings relating to the development and implementation of information and communication technology to support access and sustained use by individuals with cognitive impairments. This includes perspectives of seniors with cognitive impairments and caregivers on technology use in daily/social activities, design approaches and innovations to support seniors with cognitive impairments to access and use health information, mHealth interventions for people with traumatic brain injury, applications of tele-rehab in cognitive rehabilitation delivery, and innovative approaches to facilitate learning and use of tablets. Facilitated discussions will explore opportunities and directions for technology product and services development, implementation, and scaling.
