Joy Williams, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and research fellow within the Andrew C. and Eula Carlos Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Wellness and Rehabilitation Program at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA. She is a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University prior to completing a neurology residency at Mercer University in 2017. Dr. Williams’ research focus is on measurement of muscle endurance, as well as evaluating the impact of rehabilitation interventions on muscle and mobility in people with MS.
