Robert McBurney is CEO of the Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis (USA) and the Co-Principal Investigator for the iConquerMS™ People-Powered Research Network. In a career spanning more than 40 years, he has conducted basic and clinical research and managed research groups for drug discovery, personalized medicine, and clinical decision support systems at medical schools, research institutes, biopharmaceutical companies and non-profit organizations in Australia, the U.K. and the USA. Robert is currently a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Society for Neuroscience, the PhRMA Foundation Informatics Advisory Committee and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research. He is also a Trustee Emeritus of the F.W. Olin College of Engineering. Robert received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
