Use of Augmented Reality (AR) devices in the rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson's Disease. Results of a feasibility study with preliminary improvement in gait speed and safety. Augmented Reality has the potential to play a role in therapy of patients with Parkinsons Disease and potentially other neurological conditions.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the challenges in treating patients with early Parkinsons Disease.
• Recognize the role of advanced technologies including augmented and virtual reality devices in Parkinsons therapy.
• Learn about the results of a feasibility study demonstrating the effectiveness of Augmented Reality in treatment of Parkinsons Disease symptoms.
• Learn about future research to further integrate Augmented Reality for Parkinsons Disease patients.
