Heather Smith is the Speech Language Pathology Clinical Coordinator for Acute, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Adult & Pediatric, and Challenge programs at TIRR Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, as well as, a practicing clinician with 15 years of experience. She graduated with a BS of Communication Sciences & Disorders degree from The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a MA of Speech Pathology from The University of Tennessee. She is currently working towards Board Certification from the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences and is LSVT-LOUD certified. She has special interests in acquired and traumatic brain injuries, progressive neurological disorders, motor speech disorders, and cognitive-linguistic impairments and their impact on life participation and daily activities. She presents on a variety of topics related to these areas of interest.
