Jeremy Funk currently serves the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana as a clinical epidemiologist. Prior to joining RHI, Jeremy served Indiana as the lead syndromic surveillance epidemiologist at the Indiana State Department of Health. During that time, Mr. Funk established himself as a leading Traumatic Brain Injury Epidemiologist and authored Indiana's first Traumatic Brain Injury State Plan. Aside from his work with Traumatic Brain Injury, Mr. Funk is highly regarded for creating novel data collection methodology and metric development. In addition to his work at RHI, Jeremy also serves as the CEO and Director of Research and Development for Ghost Map Inc. and remains an active member of the Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Board.
Mr. Funk graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and received a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from Tulane University. Jeremy completed a research fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology at Lahey Health Clinic in Boston, MA. At this time, Jeremy is pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Epidemiology at Indiana University and hopes to leverage his personal experiences in TBI recovery to guide his research and aid those with chronic TBI symptomology.
