Harvard Medical School/Department of Psychiatry
Boston, Massachusetts – United States
My name is Joe DeGutis, Ph.D, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Health Scientist at the VA Boston Healthcare System. I am interested in the science of cognitive training and cognitive rehabilitation, focusing on attention and face processing impairments. I am particularly interested in what differentiates training programs that generalize beyond the clinic/laboratory from those that do not and relatedly, what differentiates individuals who benefit (i.e., show generalization) from cognitive training from those who do not.
