I am a 6th-year DO-Ph.D. student completing my Ph.D. in Epidemiology at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and planning to complete a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. My research interests are primarily focused on the application of health service research and comparative effectiveness methodology to assess the quality of care and outcomes among stroke patients. My work in stroke has involved assessing racial disparities among a cohort of stroke patients receiving acute rehabilitation services, and systematic review-meta analysis of factors associated with discharge to post-acute care. I have amassed a broad array of research experiences and previously conducted research in the areas of chronic pain, the health of homeless populations, and stroke rehabilitation.
