The Dental Licensure Objective Structured Clinical Examination (DLOSCE) is scheduled to officially launch in late 2020, providing US dental boards with a valid and reliable alternative to current patient-based clinical licensure examinations. This interactive educational session will not only provide an update on examination development from the perspective of two deans—both of whom are members of the DLOSCE Steering Committee—but will also provide insight into the benefits of a Dental Licensure OSCE, what to expect when the DLOSCE is launched and how best to prepare students for this exciting new examination program.
