Dawn Andresen received her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Kansas and has over 21 years of experience in healthcare, 19 of which have been spent working in Post Acute Care. She is currently the Director of Reimbursement for The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society and serves as a member fo the Therapy Advisory Group and Reimbursement Committee for AHCA. Dawn obtained her Nursing Home Administrators License in 2013 and worked as a Regional Vice President for a large SNF organization. Prior to obtaining her LNHA, she worked as an Area Vice President for a rehabilitation and wellness provider supporting contract therapy services for several nonprofit and for-profit Skilled Nursing Facilities. Her career with The Evalgelical Lutheran Good Samartitan Society began in 2016 as the Director of Provider Network where she had the opportunity to interact with insurance providers and support the development of a new I-SNP. For 2 years, Dawn was involved in a Performance Excellence initiative that focused on enhancing the clinical and operational performance of her organization for which she received her Lean SIx Sigma Black Belt. Dawn has her RAC-CT and has been directly involved in developing strategies to support a successful tranistion to PDPM and PDGM.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys running and has completed several full and half marathons. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and two children traveling and being outdoors.
