F880 infection prevention and control is a top tag cited across the country. The reform of Requirements of Participation implements a designated infection preventionist as of November 28, 2019, whose role is key to a center’s success on both regulatory and quality fronts. This session will provide an overview of the role of the infection preventionist as well as strategies to support that person in leading the center through implementing and maintaining an effective infection prevention and control program.
