This dynamic discussion session will focus on the challenges and opportunities technology presents during library redesign and renovation. How are emerging technologies being incorporated into new or existing spaces? What technologies have made your redesign process easier? Join us to share your problems, solutions, or questions. Use #etsreftalk on Twitter to join the conversation during this session.
ETS, the Emerging Technologies Section of RUSA, serves reference information service providers who leverage emerging technologies to deliver the highest quality services to our users. In this context of emerging technologies, ETS advocates for, promotes and strengthens user environments and interactions, as well as the creation of innovative information resources, as part of the continuum of reference and user services in libraries. By collaborating with ETS, the presenters will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for professionals from across the library spectrum to share ideas, issues, and best practices regarding the intersection between public services, emerging technologies, and library spaces.
