Program
Researchers surveyed U.S.-based tenure track librarians regarding institutional supports and occupational stress. This presentation will report their findings and equip attendees with the information needed to reduce their own occupational stress, advocate for greater institutional supports, and evaluate the tenure process and culture at their own institution with mental health in mind.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation, and attendees will be given time to discuss their own experiences with peers.
This program will be useful and informative for early career academic librarians, university library management and administration, and library school faculty.
