This program will highlight primary sources - both digitized and born digital - available online from the National Archives and Record Administration (NARA) website. Representatives from NARA will present on and discuss the records the National Archives holds and the services they offer that are of interest to librarians and their patrons. The presenters will share information about records available in the National Archives Catalog and in Access to Archival Databases. The focus will be on those records that are available for research from "anywhere," including records of a domestic nature (immigration, National Park Service, housing, Japanese Interment records) and records related to American Foreign Relations (Defense and State Departments records, cables, military records). A Q & A session with the NARA presenters will follow. The RUSA History Section is pleased to sponsor and promote this program that will benefit many types of libraries and library users.
