Chairs Program
After a brief ceremony recognizing our EMIERT Distinguished Librarian Award recipient. This panel will focus on social injustice and diversity issues within the library profession. The panel is made up of four library professionals, who will share their own experiences and will highlight how to deal with social injustice, what the impact is for our profession, how to handle diversity (or lack there of) in professional and personal settings. After the panel has discussed the five discussion points, there will be period of time to reflect on discussion points. Discussion points and a reading list will be available before the panel.
