In this timely session, presenters will discuss managing access to open content alongside licensed content and configuring metadata to maximize its impact. The session will provide an overview of the state of open access, and focus on best practices for partnering with publishers and service providers that empower you to manage the delivery of open content to your users. The panel, moderated by OCLC, will also address related topics such as open scholarship alongside OER (open educational resources) and how these resources lead to greater student success; and delivering equitable access to open and licensed content to your diverse user populations. You will gain up-to-date knowledge of today’s open access landscape, and walk away with a checklist for implementing changes to managing and delivering open content that provide instant benefit to your library and users.
