Book Buzz Theater
Thao Lam is the critically acclaimed author/illustrator of wordless picture books Wallpaper (2018) and Skunk on a String (2016). Her newest picture book, My Cat Looks Like My Dad (2019), celebrates families – however they look. Thao will share some of the the inspiration behind her work and talk about the process of storytelling these mostly visual narratives with paper collage art. Finally, she will share a sneak peek of her forthcoming book, Boat People (2020).
