Shoeshine of Kabul
In his young life, twelve-year old Malik is forced to eke out a living as a shoeshine in Kabul, the capital city of war-torn Afghanistan. Despite the dangers and hardships that Malik faces daily, he chooses to be hopeful. He clings to his memories of the ones he has loved and lost and the friendships that give him hope.
