Alyse Minter is a Research Librarian for Domestic Social Policy at the Library of Congress, Congressional Research Service (CRS). Prior to joining CRS in 2018, Alyse worked at Towson University Libraries and American University Library. Alyse holds an MLIS from the Catholic University of America and is going into her third year as a PhD student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her research examines Black women's sexual and reproductive health, specifically information seeking behaviors and the use of informal and formal peer support to mitigate health and illness-related distress.
