Congresswoman Alma S. Adams was elected to her third term representing North Carolina's 12th District on November 6, 2018. She serves on the Education and Labor, Financial Services and Agriculture Committees and is Chair of the Education and Labor Subcommittee on Workforce Protections and Vice-Chair of the Agriculture Committee.
Congresswoman Adams is also founder and co-chair of the Congressional Bipartisan HBCU Caucus, and a member of various other caucuses.
Congresswoman Adams is a mother, grandmother and proud graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and The Ohio State University.
