Tracey Vause Earland, PhD, OTR/L is an associate professor in the Department of occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. As an occupational therapist, Dr. Earland has worked in acute care, rehabilitation, and home care for older adults with neurocognitive disorders. She served as a research interventionist/project coordinator on national funded studies centered on dementia management, family caregiving, and falls prevention. Dr. Earland was the curriculum development consultant to the Eastern Pennsylvania-Delaware Geriatric Education Center and she is currently working towards integrating occupational therapy services into a geriatric primary care clinic who serve patients with dementia and their caregivers.
