Clinical Assistant Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator

Dr. Sylvia H. Anderson is a Clinical Assistant Professor, and serves as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Master of Science Occupational Therapy program at Howard University. As an occupational therapist, she has successfully designed and implemented several occupational therapy programs for African Americans in the community. These programs were primarily designed for mental health and geriatric populations. One of the most recent programs designed is geared toward enhancing the quality of life for Alzheimer’s clients and their caregivers. This program also serves as a clinical training site for occupational therapy students.
