In the midst of the Fourth Industrial Age, big data and artificial intelligence are transforming businesses and contributing to the world’s economic productivity. Technology is rapidly transforming the nature of work and the workplace. Older working adults may face unique challenges in acquiring the new skills and credentials that are necessary in an environment that focuses more on a GIG economy than a workplace with a 20-year pension.
This session will address challenges facing adult learners and explore innovative resources to advance America’s 23.4 million working adults who need support to advance their careers and their contribution to the economy.
