Mass casualty incidents do not occur frequently but when they do staff will outstrip their resources quickly. Developing this plan ahead of time will allow teams to practice the plan so it will be muscle memory in the case of an event. These low frequency events develop very quickly and teams need to be prepared to go into action. This session will demonstrate the effectiveness of having an OR specific plan and utilizing the plan during an event.
