Cori L. Ofstead, MSPH, is an epidemiologist with 25 years of experience designing and conducting studies about the impact of clinical processes on patient outcomes. She is the founder and CEO of Ofstead & Associates, Inc., an independent company that specializes in designing and conducting real-world research. She has served as the Principal Investigator on several studies related to infection prevention, instrument reprocessing, and vaccination. Ms. Ofstead is nationally recognized for her outcomes research, and her studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including AORN Journal, AJIC, ICHE, Journal of Hospital Infection, CHEST, Gastroenterology Nursing, and Vaccine. She currently serves as a reviewer for AJIC, Endoscopy, and Vaccine, and is on the editorial board for AJIC. She also serves as a preceptor for epidemiology graduate students in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
