Susan M. Scully, MSN, RN, CNOR, has been an OR nurse for 17 years; prior to that, she was a psychiatric nurse for seven years. Susan has held numerous positions while at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), including fetal surgery team lead, clinical nurse expert, and orientation coordinator. Susan received her Master's Degree from Drexel University in 2013 in Innovation and Intra/Entrepreneurship in Advanced Nursing. Her capstone project was the development of a tool kit for use with the children with autism that come into the operating room at CHOP. Since that time, she has given multiple lectures and presented multiple posters on children with autism and how best to work with them and their families when they come to the hospital for surgery. No conflict.
